Education

I graduated from the Univsersity of Wisconsin Madison in May of 2024 with degrees in both Data Science and Economics w/ Math Emphasis. With a very successful senior year, I plan to go get a Master's in Data Science to further develop my skills in data visualization, mining, and programming.

Hobbies

Soccer is the sport I spent most of life playing, which gave me the chance to lead as a captain for multiple years and travel to rival states focusing on success. Additionally, outdoor activities such as biking and hiking are enjoyable, and learning how to cook unique foods and bingeing shows takes up some of my time inside.

Experience

Working throughout college kept me both occupied and experienced as every job I had, although very different, taught me valuable rules to live that I expressed everyday. At Exact Sciences, my internship presented me with some of the nicest people I have ever met and tasks that taught me many new things along the way.

Coursework and Projects

The number of technical topics to economic theories I learned over the years is immense. I have layed out below what has stuck with me the most and what I believe to be the most important projects and takeaways from my time at the University of Wisconsin Madison.

🐍 Python Programming

Used in programming, machine learning, and analysis, Python has built-in packages that I utilized the most in school to performm object-oriented task.

💠 Structured Query Languege

SQL is a querying language used to manage data and can be paired with visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau, which I used in both school and my internship.

🧠 Machine Learning

Primarily using sklearn and pandas packages in Python, Machine Learning is a subset of AI that helps teach computers using algorithms. Below is a link to my group project using these packages.

🧮 Linear Algebra

Despite being one of my more difficult classes, Linear Algebra taught me high-level mathematical topics such as metrices, determinants, regressions. These topics were the foundation for a lot of coding practice.

📊 Econometrics

Taught me valuable financial and statistical modeling methods and economic theories that the world practices. The work is mainly done in softwares such as Stata, R, and Excel.

👾 Big Data

Taught in a unique manner using Linux, Docker, and PyTorch, Big Data simply refers to having too much data to be handled traditionally, which is usually expressed as geospatial or semi-structured data.
